Culture actually means worship. Culture and religion are very closely related. In English, the important thing in culture is the worship of God. In fact we could say if we are not religious then we are not cultured, because a really cultured person has the right relationship with God.

To understand the meaning of life Buddha had to sit under a Bodhi tree and then he knew what the life is all about. But we can see here that Buddha didn’t really know what was going on until later in life.

He said to Jesus, \"You just have to say the word and my servant will be healed.”What faith! Jesus himself was staggered. This is unbelievable. Even the Jews don’t have such faith.

Most people could no take the idea of Nirvana because Nirvana means to extinguish. Who likes to extinguish himself? Of course it may be more complicated than this.

From this city comes a little procession. A man has died. There wasn’t a dry eye in the village. The widow, his mother, was weeping copiously. Now what was she going to do?

Is it possible that this emptiness is really emptiness? We have mentioned this before but we will have to hammer home this idea. For example, if you ask a Buddhist, “Where does all these problems start off?”The culprit is ignorance(無明). Now where does ignorance come from? There is no answer.

Jesus doesn’t just tell us how to find life. He is life. Jesus doesn’t just tell us how to rise from the dead. He is the resurrection. Jesus doesn’t just tell us where we come from and where we go. He is where we come from and he is where we go. He is the alpha and he is the omega. He is the beginning and the end.

All religions have to learn to get along with each other. Actually there is no other alternative. Let’s look at things close at home. Let’s examine simply religious development in China. The whole thing probably started off with animism. This animistic religion kind of joined up with philosophical Daoism. Then Buddhism appeared in China about two thousand years ago. Daoism and Buddhism influenced each other. And then we had the teaching of Confucius.

If you are a Catholic, what you do you do with Jesus. What Jesus does is of infinite worth. So what you do is of infinite worth. Why wasting your time fooling around? Get to the church and kneel down. Go to confession. Do penance. Begin a new life and turn over a new leaf. Don’t waste a minute. Life is slipping by.

The Catholic Church was founded by Christ and that is by God
himself. So this is the bone of
contention. Which religion was
founded by God himself? Only
the Catholics claim this. All the
other religions are man made
religions.
