Early on in the ministry, Jesus already sent His disciples to do mission.

Mission work is also bearing witness to our Faith in our day to day life.

St. Therese, who, despite never leaving the cloister, is considered the patroness of the missions

because she offered all her merits of her activities for the mission! We can do the same.

Job 19:21-27

Have pity my friends,

 Jesus once again performs many miracles in plain sight of many.

They are proud of their Teacher’s accomplishment.

He had power over disease, He had power over demons, He had power over death.

when Jesus talked about His dying,

A crucified Messiah? A Messiah who becomes a sin offering? Impossible.

It did not square with their hopes of your triumph.

Without the shedding of His blood there would be no forgiveness of sin.

Rejoice, young man,

The truth that each and every human soul has a Guardian Angel.

Protects us from both spiritual and physical evil.

“Let us affectionately love His angels as counselors and defenders appointed by the Father and placed over us.

They are faithful; they are prudent; they are powerful; Let us only follow them, let us remain close to them.

At length it was Job who spoke,

Herod is being told that Jesus is John the Baptist risen from the dead.

Herod is filled with fear and curiosity. He “kept trying to see Jesus”.

Not because he was moved by their teachings.

Why he has to see Jesus in person. John and Jesus haunted him.

This was the case of King Herod. He was held captive by his own insecurity.

All is meaningless-says

 The book of job takes us through the deepening of faith of job.

The spirit of faith invites us always to search for God’ s will.

Jesus declares the least to be the greatest. Were without status or power or influence.

Are you surprised to see the disciples of Jesus arguing about who is the greatest among them?

Who doesn’t cherish the ambition to be “somebody”.

Who is the greatest in God's kingdom? The one who is humble and lowly of heart.

Job 1:6-22 

One day the heavenly

Many saints who, in their unstoppable energy doing the work of God, are not rewarded.

Instead, they are shamed to the point of being persecuted.

These harsh returns, however, do not weaken their energy springing from God’s power.

Believers started to follow and were able to do the same.

Under the same Spirit do contemporary healers operate now and all were made possible because faith is abounding in them.

The Gospel for today invites us to let Jesus work in our daily lives.

 Proverbs 30:5-9

Every word of God is true,

They don’t want to share this precious to others not of their rank.

But Jesus will have none of this sense of exclusivity.

As long as people are not against what He stands for, they are allies in the building of God’s kingdom.

We should look more for commonality rather than difference from others to realize

that all our actions tend to one objective, the glory of God.

Numbers 11:25-29

Yahweh came down

 “THOSE WHO HEAR THE WORD OF GOD AND DO IT.”

Jesus established a determinant that goes beyond biological relationship, that is,

the bearing and the keeping of the word of God.

this is the one thing that connects and brings us into close relationship with Christ.

Hearing and keeping God’s word means taking Jesus in our life.

When this happens, Christ takes possession of us and assumes a central place.
