Jesus compares himself to
the good shepherd, who
leaves ninty-nine sheep,
go and look for the lost
sheep. When the lost
sheep is found, the
shepherd will put it on his
shoulders and call the neighbours to celebrate. He wanted to
show us that there is great rejoicing over the recovery of the
lost sheep.
