| 1. |
This is the beginning of the Good News of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. |
|
| 2. |
正如先知依撒意亞書上記載的：“我要在你面前派遣使者，為你預備道路。 |
|

It is written in the book of Isaiah, the proph-et, “I am send-ing my messenger ahead of you to prepare your way. |
|
| 3. |
在曠野裏有聲音呼喊：預備上主的道！修直祂前面的路。” |
|
| 3. |
Let the people hear the voice calling in the desert: Prepare the way of the Lord, level his paths.” |
|
| 4. |
若翰出現在曠野裏為人授洗。他宣講悔改的洗禮，為得罪的赦免。 |
|

So John began to baptize in the desert; he preached a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. |
|
| 5. |
猶太全境和耶路撒冷的全體民眾都來找他，在約旦河領受他的洗禮，并向他懺悔自己的罪過。 |
|

All Judea and all the people from the city of Jerusalem went out to John to confess their sins and be baptized by him in the river Jordan. |

若翰身穿駱駝毛外衣，腰間束著皮帶。他吃的是蝗蟲和野蜂蜜。 |

?John was clothed in camel’s hair and wore a leather garment around his waist. His food was locusts and honey. |
|

他對民眾宣講：“在我之后，要來一位比我強的。我連俯身替他解鞋帶都不配。 |

He preached to the people saying, “After me comes one who is more powerful than I am; |
|
|
| 8. |
I have baptized you with water, but he will baptize you in the Holy Spirit. As for me, I am not worthy to bend down and untie his sandals.” |
|

那時耶穌從加里利的納匝肋來，在約旦河裏領受了若翰的洗禮。 |
|
| 9. |
At that time Jesus came from Nazareth, a town of Galilee, and was baptized by John in the Jordan. |
|
| 10. |
他剛從水裡出來，就看見天裂開了，聖神如白鴿一般降落在他上面。 |
|
| 10. |
And the moment he came up out of the water, heaven opened before him and he saw the Spirit coming down on him like a dove. |
|
| 11. |
又有聲音從天上傳來：“你是我的愛子，我衷心喜愛的。 |
|
| 11. |
And these words were heard from heaven, “You are my Son, the Beloved, the One I have chosen.” |
|
|
| 12. |
Then the Spirit drove him into the desert. |
|
| 13. |
耶穌在那裡過了四十天，受撒殫的試探。他與群獸相處，且有天使侍奉在他左右。 |
|
| 13. |
Jesus stayed in the desert forty days and was tempted by Satan. He was with the wild animals, but angels ministered to him. |
|
|
|
Jesus cslls his first disciple ( MT 4:12 ; LK 4;14 ) |

若翰被捕后，耶穌往加里利去宣講天主的福音， |
|

After John was arrested, Jesus went into Galilee and began preaching the Good News of God. |
|
| 15. |
說：“時期已到，天國就在眼前了。你們悔改，相信福音吧！” |
|
| 15. |
He said, “The time has come; the kingdom of God is at hand. Change your ways and believe the Good News.” |
|
| 16. |
耶穌在加里利的湖邊行走時，看見西滿和他的兄弟安德肋正向湖裡撒網，他們都是漁夫。 |
|
| 16. |
As Jesus was walking along the shore of Lake Galilee, he saw Simon and his brother Andrew casting a net in the lake, for they were fishermen. |
|
| 17. |
耶穌對他們說:“來跟隨我吧!我要使你們成為捕人的漁夫。” |
|
| 17. |
And Jesus said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fish for people.” |
|
|
| 18. |
At once, they abandoned their nets and followed him. |
|
| 19. |
耶穌又向前走了不遠，看見了載伯德的兒子：雅各伯和他兄弟若望。他倆正在船上修整魚網。 |
|
| 19. |
Jesus went a little farther on and saw James and John, the sons of Zebedee; they were in their boat mending their nets. |
|
| 20. |
耶穌召喚他們，他們就將父親載伯德及雇工留在船上，跟隨耶穌去了。 |
|
| 20. |
Immediately, Jesus called them and they followed him, leaving their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired men. |
|
|
|
Jesus teaches and drives out an evil spirit. |
|
| 21. |
他們進了葛法翁。一到安息日，耶穌就去會堂講道施教。 |
|
| 21. |
They went into the town of Capernaum and Jesus began to teach in the synagogue during the sabbath assemblies. |
|
| 22. |
他的講道震撼了那裏的人，因為他講道時帶有一種權威，不同于經師。 |
|
| 22. |
The people were astonished at the way he taught, for he spoke as one having authority and not like the teachers of the Law. |
|
|
| 23. |
It happened that a man with an evil spirit was in their synagogue |
|
| 24. |
他大聲喊道：“納匝肋的耶穌，你要我們怎么樣？你要來毀滅我們嗎？我知道你是誰，你是天主的聖者。 |
|
| 24. |
and he shouted, “What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are: You are the Holy One of God.” |
|
|
| 25. |
Then Jesus faced him and said with authority, “Be silent and come out of this man!” |
|
| 26. |
不潔之魔讓這人身體痙攣一陣，然后大叫一聲，就從這人身上出去了。 |
|
| 26. |
The evil spirit shook the man violently and, with a loud shriek, came out of him. |
|
| 27. |
眾人都大為吃驚，彼此詢問：“怎么回事？這是具有權威性的新教訓。他竟能命令不潔之魔！而不潔之魔也服從了他！” |
|
| 27. |
All the people were astonished and they wondered, “What is this? With what authority he preaches! He even orders evil spirits and they obey him!” |
|
|
| 28. |
And Jesus’ fame spread throughout all the country of Galilee. |
|
| 29. |
從會堂一出來，他就同雅各伯、若望來到西滿和安德肋的家。 |
|
| 29. |
On leaving the synagogue, Jesus went to the home of Simon and Andrew with James and John. |
|
| 30. |
西滿的岳母正病在床上，發著高燒。他們馬上告訴耶穌她的病情。 |
|
| 30. |
As Simon’s mother-in-law was sick in bed with fever, they immediately told him about her. |
|
| 31. |
耶穌過去，握著她的手，扶起了她，燒就退了。她就起來招待他們了。 |
|
| 31. |
Jesus went to her and taking her by the hand, raised her up. The fever left her and she began to wait on them. |
|
| 32. |
到了晚上，夕陽西下后，人們就把所有患病和附魔的人都帶到耶穌跟前。 |
|
| 32. |
That evening at sundown, people brought to Jesus all the sick and those who had evil spirits: |
|
|
| 33. |
the whole town was pressing around the door. |
|
| 34. |
耶穌治好了許多得各種疾病的人，也驅逐了不少惡魔。他不許惡魔開口說話，因為他們都認識他。 |
|
| 34. |
Jesus healed many who had various diseases, and drove out many demons; but he did not let them speak, for they knew who he was. |
|
|
|
|
| 35. |
Very early in the morning, before daylight, Jesus went off to a lonely place where he prayed. |
|
|
| 36. |
Simon and the others went out, too, searching for him; |
|
| 37. |
他們找到了他，對他說：“大家正在找你呢！” |
|
| 37. |
and when they found him they said, “Everyone is looking for you.” |
|
| 38. |
耶穌說：“我們走吧！到鄰村去，我好也在那裡講道。因為我正是為這事來的。” |
|
| 38. |
Then Jesus answered, “Let’s go to the nearby villages so that I may preach there too; for that is why I came.” |
|
| 39. |
于是，耶穌走遍了加里利地區，在他們的會堂裏講道施教，同時也驅魔。 |
|
| 39. |
So Jesus set out to preach in all the synagogues throughout Galilee; he also cast out demons. |
|
|
|
| 40. |
有個患痲瘋病的人來找耶穌，跪求他的憐憫，並對耶穌說：“如果你願意，就能潔淨我。” |
|
| 40. |
A leper came to Jesus and begged him, “If you so will, you can make me clean.” |
|
| 41. |
耶穌動了惻隱之心，就伸出手來撫摸他，說：“我願意，潔淨吧！” |
|
| 41. |
Moved with pity, Jesus stretched out his hand and touched him, saying, “I will; be clean.” |
|
|
| 42. |
The leprosy left the man at once and he was made clean. |
|
|
| 43. |
As Jesus sent the man away, he sternly warned him, |
|
| 44. |
千萬別告訴任何人！只是去讓司祭檢驗；為你得潔淨，獻上梅瑟規定的祭品，給他們作證據。” |
|
| 44. |
“Don’t tell anyone about this, but go and show yourself to the priest and for the cleansing bring the offering ordered by Moses; in this way you will make your declaration.” |
|
| 45. |
但這人一出去，就把這件事傳揚出去，以致耶穌不能再公開進城，只好留在城外偏僻的地方;然而還是有許多人從各處來到他跟前。 |

However, as soon as the man went out, he began spreading the news everywhere, so that Jesus could no longer openly enter any town. But even though he stayed in the rural areas, people came to him from everywhere |
